Share the treatment plan.
We seek participation from Sierra Pacific Industries, W.M. Beaty, and other California timberland owners and managers. Treatment maps and dates help us identify where monitoring could be useful.

Application-aware monitoring
Help us know what will be applied, where it will be used, and when—so we can plan monitoring around forestry treatments.
The timing of the work
We seek advance or near-real-time notification of forestry-herbicide applications so monitoring can be planned around actual treatments, rather than waiting weeks or months to learn what was applied.
A planned application window helps us prepare. Confirmation of when and where the work actually occurred helps us connect that preparation with the records and the field investigation.
A network we are building
We seek participation from Sierra Pacific Industries, W.M. Beaty, and other California timberland owners and managers. Treatment maps and dates help us identify where monitoring could be useful.
We want to work with CAL FIRE and the U.S. Forest Service on timely forestry-herbicide treatment information, relevant project records, and application updates.
We seek county agricultural departments, applicators, and project contacts who can help connect planned applications, completed treatments, and the records that document them.
Useful notification details
A plain-text checklist for the details that can help us plan monitoring. Use it for a planned treatment, an update, or a completed application.
Download the notice templateThis downloads a template; it does not send a notice. A dedicated CWMP submission channel is being prepared.
From notice to monitoring
Provide the location, products, and expected window so a potential monitoring plan can be considered.
Share changes to the treatment boundary, products, or dates. A revised plan should not be confused with the original notice.
Confirm the actual dates and treated area, with the final application records as they become available.
Use the notice together with site conditions and the monitoring plan to guide sampling and interpretation.
